ACE Lacrosse has announced that sophomore Caitlin Hoffen of George Mason University has been added as an instructor for the upcoming girls lacrosse camp in Jessup, MD. 

As a freshman last year, Caitlin started all 17 games for the Patriots and was a CAA All-Rookie Team selection.   She was a key member of a defensive unit that ranked fifth in the nation in caused turnovers per game and sixth in ground balls per game; and was 17th in the nation and tied for second in the CAA in caused turnovers per game with an average of 1.71.   She ranked 28th in the nation and fourth in the CAA in ground balls per game with an average of 2.71; and led the team in ground balls with 46 and caused turnovers with 29.

Caitlin played basketball, field hockey and lacrosse at Mount de Sales Academy and was the captain of all three teams during her senior year.  She was the MVP of her field hockey and basketball teams during her senior year and an All-Baltimore County selection in field hockey and All-IAAM Conference in basketball.  She was named the Sailors Athlete of the Year during her senior year and played club lacrosse for the Hero's Lacrosse Team for four years.
