With "Hoosierland Report" co-founder, Nick Ray, and Hoosier Basketball Magazine's Gary Donna in attendence, the Golden Bears beat a solid Whiteland team featuring 2002 All-State candidate Megan Liffick. The Bears had a ten point lead at half and stretched it to 19 by the end of the contest to go to 12-0. Senior Sarah Laird (5'7 2G) led the scoring for the winners with 18 points while two freshmen, Gretchen Haehl (5'5 PG) and Gwen Haehl (5'7 G), and a sophomore, Katie Douglas (6'0 C), all had 10 points to help the cause. The Golden Bears are experiencing a new found success this year under fairly new coach John Fair and are undefeated this late in the season for the first time ever.
