DEA Bedford Over 30

The game started with the DEA starting a lineup a bit different then before.

Willie M as the second midfield, new guy Matt Lortie at right mid and TK Zezu up top.

Play went back and forth for the first 15 mins and Peabody took a shot from distance that, #1 in our hearts, Lucas missed handled and found a good portuguse bounce and Peapody was on the board one nothing.

Not more then 5 mins later Tim threw a hugh bomb from the right sidelines which made it into the box and was headed back by Jerold (new hair new man) and placed into the net by Jeff (HGH boy).

  

DEA took over from this point.  Play was smooth and fast, with most of the players making quick touches on the ball.   The play continued with Tim (Beast) sliding a pass to Will who  beat a guy and placed it into the side neeting.  Score at half was 2 to one. 

DEA came right back with more attacking play and continued  the pressure.  New Guy Matt Lortie had a shot on net that was partially blocked and was put away by Jerold.  DEA 3 Peobody 1.  DEA was not done, there were more great attacking plays with Scott missing a point blank breakaway which was saved by the keeper.  New guy Matt Lortie hit a low and hard shot that found a hugh whole and then side netting, keeper had no chance.  DEA was rolling.  Will then took a nice ball and passed it to Scott who beat a defender and was dropped in the box.  Will wanted this one because as Jerold picked up the ball, Will was standing at the spot.  Will took a good PK that  hit all wood.( manager says 18 pack)  DEA was still not done Chris (all handy man) Jones made runs high up field and showed his dribbling skill and crossed a beauty to Will who vollied a one timer into the net.  He wanted to redeem himself from the missed PK.

The last 20 mins saw DEA's # 1 get taken out by a careless undercutting ala (crackback farve) Tino left the D to play between the pipes.  DEA started to fall apart defensively when Jerold played a useless foul 25 yards from goal and the sweeper hit the shot of his life that hit the right post and made it in the net.  They came back again with 10 to go and again DEA played OLAY D and let a guy in who put it on and Flo almost had a goal line clearance but was put back into the net.

The Game ended DEA 5 - Peabody 3.

We all hope our big right back Flo is doing well.
