Central Islip, N.Y.-Sophomore Sydney Phillips (Sebastopol, Calif.) has earned 2013 First Team All-East Coast Conference honors at the designated player position in a vote of league coaches that was released on Friday afternoon.

Philips led the 2013 Purple Knights with a .356 batting average and blasted four home runs and had 18 runs batted in seeing action in 48 of her team's 50 games played.
