The Johnstown Collegiate League announced the award winners for the 2018 Season on Sunday.
Omar Ward won the Most Valuable Player Award. Ward becomes the seventh player in frachise history to win the award. (Ryan Unger - 2002, Doug McNulty - 2005, Matt Petrowsky - 2006 and 2007, Sam Watkins - 2010, Ian Helsel - 2015, Dillon Boyer - 2016).
Braxton Roxby won the Pete Vuckovich Award that goes to the most oustanding pitcher in the league. Roxby becomes the 11th player in franchise history to win the award. (Kip Watkins - 2002, Alex Gett - 2005, Ben Watkins - 2007, Mikie Pelekonos - 2009, Scott Dixon - 2010, Derek Younker - 2012, Mike Mulvey - 2013, Nate Pope - 2014, Stone Rice - 2015, Brady Walker - 2017).
Joel Colledge was selected Rookie Pitcher of the Year, becoming the fourth player in franchise history to win the award (Mike Cardamone - 2001, Tyler Noel - 2006, Travis Antolik - 2011).
