Vancouver Sharks drafted Alexandre Estienne from the QMJHL. Estienne was the fifth and last defensemen selected in the 2009 RHL Entry Draft by the Vancouver Sharks, going 18th overall. Estienne played for the Rimouski Océanic last season, recording 52 points in 45 games (18,34).
