Congrats everyone on a great regular season! Out of 16 teams we finished 4th overall with an 11-3 record. Not too shabby. Not gonna say it was the stellar pep talks by the Manager, but I can’t imagine what else it could be.

The league has split our division in half for the playoffs – Top 8 teams will be in the top bracket and play a 3 game Round Robin (The bottom 8 are in a Rec bracket and will play each other for the consolation finals)
We’ll play our 3 games on our regular night, starting this Thursday @ Tree Nursery Diamonds.

The analytics department is still pouring over the data so the SP call remains TBA.

Try and let the skip know by Wednesday if you’re in/out so the lineup can be made in time for the early start – 6:15. Should be good news for the outfielders as there will be lots of light for those high flies.

UPDATE: our Sept. 14th game has been moved up so we now have a dbl header this Thursday – 6:15 & 8:45
Was thinking we could order some pizza to be delivered between games or maybe grill some dogs if somebody has a habachi? Let me know so we know how much food to get. Anything to keep us outta the beers since we play the 1st overall team in the second game.
The hour between will also give us a chance to talk about tournaments. We get one free entry and the 2 remaining are on Sept 16-17 & Oct 14-15. Could everyone check their schedule so we can make a decision whether or not we will enter one of em? If you aren’t going to make it this week message me what dates you prefer
