Congrats to both teams.

Congratulations to our Mosquito AAA Tier 2 Red Sox for advancing to this weekend’s Provincial tournament in West Kelowna. After a slow 0-2 start to the summer season, and overcoming some player injuries, the team played some tremendous baseball closing out the season with 7 wins and finishing 2nd in their pool. Good luck Red Sox!

The Ladner PeeWee A Dodgers capped off an amazing season by winning their final game of the year to bring the championship trophy back home to Ladner.

The 16-2-1 Dodgers started the season strong and continued their winning ways by taking home first place in the Newton Ross tournament against an equally strong Surrey Angels team. The playoffs brought stiff competition to which the Dodgers were ready and finished the round robin 4-0 and another date with the 4-0 Angels. On Surreys home turf, the Dodgers again rose to the occasion. With exceptional pitching, timely hits and great fielding the Dodgers bested their crosstown rivals 4-3 in a hard fought game that could have easily gone the other way. It was a huge win for the Dodgers.

Proud coaches, Colin Robie, Zubin Wong, Jayson Oldham and Michelle Poulsson would love to again congratulate, Lucas Robie, Mikah Oldham, Cole Warkentin, T’Kai Shepherd-Wong, Ryder Armstrong, Kai Mostat, Shaan Jassar, William Cowx, Max Kidds-Brodie, Logan Lechner, Jason Crump and Ashvin Dhaliwal on a great season, one that they will not soon forget.
