Despite 40 mile an hour wind gusts the Opening Day Parade marched down Valley Boulevard and onto the Sixth Street field. The little league would like to thank Mayors Dressel and Sarlo for throwing out the opening day pitches. Wood Ridges' Council for their support. The Police and Fire Departments of both towns for their continued support.  

Speaking of wind, Special Thanks to Jamie Winslow for her rendition of our national anthem, by far one of the best performances the little league has heard. She is a great young Wood Ridge talent.

We want to thank all the board members and all the managers and coaches for the time and effort it took to get opening day off the ground.

Finally a big shout out to "Cruz's Crew" Our Ladies Auxilary for getting the kitchen up and running and bringing a huge source of much needed funds to our program.

Congrats on a fantastic come from behind victory the boys beat Heights twice to secure another banner for the League.. Congrats to all the parents, fans and children.. And great job coaches.. I am really proud of all of you..
