Annabellas House of Mozzarella

Jackie Goldklang will be taking orders for jackets on the following dates at the Wood-Ridge Civic Center Mar 9th, 2002 9am-12pm, Mar 12th 7:30pm-9:00pm, Mar 14th 7:30-9:00pm. These will be the only order dates for jackets please make an effort to get to the civic on these dates as no orders will be processed after Mar 14th, 2002.

The team opened up with a win in a ten-run rule 10-0 game against Lodi. Tony Veltri and Tom Fugnitti pitched well. Shannon Sullivan, Alex Aitkens hit bombs to right for triples to lead the way. Giorgio Scalone also scattered a couple of hits. Game 2 saw a repeat of game 1 the team ten-run ruled Garfield in four. Veltri, Aitkens, and Lacey all pitched great. The team hit well. Tom Lacey and CJ Turtoro made some stellar infield plays. The team rolled on defeating North Arlington 8-5 in a well played game. The team continued its unbeaten streak with a win over Garfield. Tom Fugnitti,Tom Lacey and Alex Aitkens all pitched well. Nick Romero made two defensive stops at home as well as smacking a double. Nick LaTesta also had a great offensive game with a triple and a double and two steals of home. The team went to 5-0 after defeating Lodi behind some great pitching from Fugnitti and Aitkens. Nick Romero kept Lodi in check on the bases with some great catching defense. Rob Francis, Nick LaTesta, Tom Lacey, and Alex Aitkens all contributed offensively. In the next game the team rolled to another victory. Defeating North Arlington Tom Fugnitti continued his great pitching along with Aitkens and Lacey. In the Championship game WR/M Ten-Run Ruled Lodi 11-1 to win the tourney. It was a total team effort with everyone hitting and playing the D. Congrats to the team and all the parents and coaches. You have all made the league proud..... The team went undefeated in the tourney.

The team opened up with a real nail biter. They defeated Lodi 1-0 in a tough one. Christian Muniz had the only hit, a Homer to right field, which proved to be the game winner. Joe Gingerelli and Mark Mulvaney pitched great. The boys won game 2 against North Arlington 7-4. Dom Azzolini, Joe Gingerelli, and Mark Mulvaney all pitched well. Christian Muniz continued his hot bat. The team ten-run ruled Lodi in 4 innings 13-3 to bring them to a 3-0 record. The team went to 4-0 after defeating Elmwood Park 7-4. Defense was the key and a nice double by Jim Mcgahn. The team went to 5-0 with a win against North Arlington. The team suffered it first loss to Elmwood Park. In a real nail-biter the boys beat Lodi 6-4 behind a the arm of Mark Mulvaney. Christian Muniz and Dom Azzolini had some key hits. Congrats to the boys we are all proud of you.
