Saturday, April 28th is Opening Day for NELL!!
This day is an extra special time for all our our players, coaches, parents, fans, and volunteers. It is also one of the busiest days of the season for us in the concession stand.
We could use a few people to step up and help out in concessions, especially during lunch time.
The stand will be open from about 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM. We have the following volunteer shifts available. Please keep in mind that many hands make light work and your help is GREATLY appreciated.
- 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM (Opening Crew)
- 10:30 AM -12:30 PM
- 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
- 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM
- 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM
- 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM (Closing Crew)
We always need grillers...so dads, don't think the concession stand is only for us moms! We need you too!
We usually have a lot of fun in the stand!! There are times it's the warmest or coolest place to be. And...hey, you get free food and a drink out of the deal. Where can you beat that!?
Concession Stand Volunteer Guidelines
- Mature Teen and up (see definition below)
- Everyone MUST wear a hat or hair in a ponytail
- Wear clothes you don’t care if they get dirty or stained
- NO ONE should work in the stand if they have had a stomach bug within the last 72 hours
Definition of Mature Teen: 12 years old and up. Must be there to WORK...not socializing, playing around, hanging out, eating, etc. If they are on the young side they may not be allowed to handle money as things can get fast and hectic quick. We can't have errors being made. The Concession Manager reserves the right to ask any teen not pulling their weight to step out.
