14U Blue

The Wheaton Wildcats Travel Softball Program had their first travel team in 1987 and now have, 12U, 14U Blue, 14U Orange, 16U and 18U teams. This program runs open tryouts in early August and allows 25 percent out-of-district players per team.  Check back for exact tryout dates.

The Wildcat program prides itself on the integrity of its coaches, sound fundamentals, and keeping players together from 8 years old on. We work on all aspects of the game year round, including fall ball, winter indoor practices, and spring and summer tournaments. Our goal is to field teams at both A and B levels.

The Wheaton Bobcats Travel Softball Program is for those players who play in a Wheaton Park District Youth Softball league (http://www.wpdathletics.org/pgs/wpdybs/index.html). The Bobcats are considered "short-season" travel teams who play a minimum of three tournaments in July and August. Tryouts for the 10U, 12U, and 14U Bobcats will be held May 17th at Atten Park (Field #15 next to the playground and concession stand).

The Wheaton Park District Wildcat Program annually hosts the popular Wheaton Red, White, and Blue Tournament. The 2015 tournament is July 9th*, 10th, 11th and 12th.  Click on the "Wheaton Red, White, and Blue Tournament" link for additional information and entry form.

*Games will be played on July 9th if required due to the number of team entries.

Thank you one and all for a great tournament again this year.  A special thank to our terrific Park District Staff and Wheaton Parks Department for giving us the best fields around to compete on.  Teams battled not only each other, but the elements, from rain and wind to heat and humidity.  Great sportsmanship and great softball were displayed throughout the competition.  We hope you will all consider joining us again next year.
