2008 Lottery Calendar Fundraiser

Posted by Chris Hinkey at Nov 24, 2007 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )

Every Player in our program will be selling 2008 Lottery Calendars. The cost of the calender is $20.00 it is good for the entire year and is based on the daily evening lottery number.  Each child in the program must sell five calendars.  These calendars make great Christmas gifts.  Why give a gift card when you can give the gift of money. Every  player that sells more than five will receive a free t-shirt.  If you would like more to sell more  email Chris Hinkey at president@johnsoncityhoops.com

This fundraiser will help us pay for camps, summer league, the end of the year banquet, and equipment.  Please remember the basketball club supports all levels of basketball.  Last year alone the JCBC spent over $7,000 dollars on AAU summer leagu and the end of the year banquet.  This past fall we purchased every player a water bottle. As an organization we have many new things we would like to do.  Our one goal is to help players with finincial assistance for camps and to send our varsity and junior varsity teams to team camps.  To be able to do all of these things we need to raise more money

2007-2008 Boy's Travel Teams Announced

Posted by Chris Hinkey at Oct 27, 2007 5:00PM PDT ( 0 Comments )

I would like to thank every child that particpated in the try out session.  I want to remind all players that did not make a team that you can still participate in the Muni league program.  We as coaches decided to take 33 players instaed of just 30 players.  We felt we would give more players an oppourtunity to play at a higher level.  Selecting teams is the hardest thing for coaches to do and the decisions were difficult.  If you would like to discuss your son's tryout, you can contact Chris Hinkey at president@johnsoncityhoops.com.  Just a reminder if your child made a team, there will be a parent's meeting on Monday, October 29 at 6:00 in the Middle School Gym.  Thank you for supporting the Johnson City basketball program.
