Girls Varsity Improves to 2-1
The Lady Wildcats improved their overall record to 2-1 and 1-0 in Stac with a win over Owego last night at the high school.

JC 61, Owego 37: Stacey Fox continued her frantic pace in the steals department with 10 more for Johnson City in a win over visiting Owego. Fox, a junior guard who also had a team-high 18 points Wednesday, now has 21 steals over her last two games. Celeste Kadylak helped the Wildcats (2-1) pull away, scoring eight of her team's 13 points in the second quarter before Krystal Newborn helped seal the win, scoring 10 of her 14 points in the fourth. Kiley Davis had 15 points and 14 rebounds for Owego.
Boys Junior Varsity start off 3-0
The boys Junior Varsity improved their overall record to 3-0 and 1-0 in stac with a win over Owego 64-48. The JV's won the Windsor Invitational Tournament last week with impressive defeats over Sidney and Windsor. On Friday the junior varsity will play division rival Maine Endwell at home. Game time is 6:00 in the high school gym.

Girls Varsity gets first win of the season
The Girls Varsity earned their first win of the season in the third place game of the Chenango Forks Touranment. Johnson City beat Chenango Forks 54-47. Krystal Newborn had 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Stacey Fox added 12 points and 11 steals for the lady wildcats. The Varsity improved their record to 1-1 with the victory.
