Over at the 90' diamond, NCLL and MSJLL met for the second time in two days. NCLL had come through the Winner's Bracket undefeated, but were beat by MSJLL - coming from the Elimination Bracket - on Friday, July 8, 4-1. This set up a Winner-Take-All-Final for Saturday.

Saturday's game remained close throughout and entered extra-innings after a 5-5 through 7 innings. In the top of the 8th, NCLL was unable to score. In the bottom of the 8th, MSJLL had a runner on third base, who scored on a sqeeze play, giving MSJLL the California District 14 Junior All-Star Championship.

The NCLL Little League All-Star team will represent District 14 in Little League's California Section 3 Little League All-Tournament, hosted by California District 57. Please consider volunteering any amount of time you can to help support our league's hosting responsibilities.  Responsible teens would be ideal for most positions.  Any Board member will be happy to help complete the necessary paperwork for any student's volunteer hours.

Please e-mail Cole Casey & Bill Brown to volunteer for any position at one or more of the games listed below.  Your help and support is GREATLY appreciated.
