Frederick Hustlers (13U)

The Hustlers scored seven times in the first inning on Wednesday evening at Martin Luther King Regional Park and held on to defeat the MD Warriors 10-6. Justin Ropp started on the mound and worked three innings, giving up four runs on seven hits. Matt Cunningham closed out the win tossing the last four innings and surrendering only two hits and two runs. Cunningham and Joe Pippin led the way with two hits a piece; one of Cunningham’s was a double. Ryan Bennett had a big two-run single in the first, while Nicholas DeLisi and Andrew McElwain also contributed key hits. The Hustlers are back home for a Sunday round-robin against the Keystone Bombers and the PG Select BlueSox. First pitch is scheduled for 12:00pm at the Yellow Springs Baseball Complex.
