Announcement
The Academy will be facilitated by Steve Kinsey, the FC United Director of Coaching.
All players should be evaluated prior to Academy participation.
Evaluations are not try-outs and are not mandatory but are highly recommended for players who have not participated in one of our Academies.
Players will be placed in training groups based upon ability, not age or gender or team.
Training groups will be limited in size.
Group training sessions will be scheduled once per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.
Wednesday sessions will be avoided if possible.
There will be a 6:00pm to 7:00pm session and an 7:15pm to 8:15pm session each weeknight.
This summer's training will focus on maintaining possession of the ball.
Games (by group) will be played on Saturday mornings.
Games and Training will take place in Farmington on the Hermosa Middle School Soccer Field.
Participation may be limited based upon coach availability.
U6 and U8 sessions will take place on Friday evenings.
Goalkeeper sessions will take place on Saturday evenings.
