Westboro

What a great game the boys played today!  It was close for 3 innings, with Westboro holding on to a 2-1 lead and then, all of a sudden we were in mercy territory for the third time in 10 games.  The offense was led by Michael Kurlan's 2 hits, 4 RBI's and a homer, Brendon McCafferty's triple, Jack Phelps' ground rule double (should have been a home run) and Art McMahon's 3 hits.  Jack Phelps also pitched a terrific game, striking out 12 in 5 innings of 2-hit pitching for the complete game win.  Now we go into the playoffs with some momentum on our side, along with some terrific confidence.
