TABB Hit-A-Thon A Success Thanks to Efforts by the TABB Family!
Dear TABB Families:
I want to thank the Board, the Divisional VP's, Managers, Coaches, Parents, and especially the players of this fantastic baseball league. Your support and belief in this Hit-A-thon made it one of the most memorable and most successful one-day event in my time here at TABB. The idea started out last year and became a reality with the help, enthusiasm, and support of the entire league. Everyone should be proud of the work and participation put into this great event that was more successful than we thought was possible. Let me share with you some of the details with specific winners being announced on Opening Day. 39 teams participated representing 100% of the teams in the league.
- Individual participation rate was 60%.
- 12 separate teams generated over $1,000 in pledges.
- Every division had at least one team who generated more than $1,000 in pledges
- 2 Individual players generated $1,100 or more in pledges
- 8 additional players generated over $500 or more in pledges.
We will announce the Team and Individual winners on Opening Day and present them with their prizes. Thank you for the support.
