Our team will be participating in the BU-14 King of the Beach Tournament. There are 2 games scheduled; Sat. 10/30/2010 at 8:30 Am, Parras and Sat. 11/6/2010 at 11:30 AM at Washington. Here is a link to the full tournament schedule.

This Thursday practice will be at AVP due to Back to School Night at Parras.
Sept. 9, 2010
All players are responsible for bringing their own water to all games.

We are now Mas Blanco. Team Pictures are at 1:30 this Saturday.

Saturday 9/11/10 at 8:30 AM (Parras) vs Lytle
Sunday 9/12/10 at 1:30 PM (Parras) vs Anderson

Wendi went to the Parents meeting last Tuesday and shares the following information:
Essentially, it's the same info year after year. Most of our parents SHOULD know the drill but in case:
Field Clean Up is this Saturday, Aug 28th. I know that Sim and I will be there to help clean up. This is part of our volunteer duties as a team.
Our team roster has already been done, thanks so much.
Please also remember that our kids won't have "snack" as we are on the turf and nothing but water is allowed. So there will be no "snack" schedule.
Opening Day is Saturday September 11th. We are responsible, as a team, to provide volunteers to work a two hour shift. I signed our team up from 8-10 to " help setup, tables, chairs, tents, etc". This should be very very easy. I need to make sure that we have volunteers so please tell me/Carl who will be there. The more the merrier.
Opening Day: We also need an auction basket. If anyone has done this in the past, it would be great to please volunteer to coordinate this. Either we need to all chip in approx. $5 per kid and buy gift cards OR if any of our parents want to offer items for a basket, please please do so. Can someone please volunteer to coordinate this for me? Thanks.
Banner: Sim will make
Refs: We need refs to get points so that our team can be entered into the Beach Cup. We need a minimum of 30 volutnteer points to play Beach Cup. Basic Ref Classes for new refs is this Sat Aug 28th, 9-5, Alta Vista.
Youths may take classes too Aug 28, 9-1 and then again Aug 29,noon-4pm. Sign up at

Refresher ref class: Weds Sept 8 or Tues Sept 14 6:30-8:30pm, Knights of Columbus Hall Riviera Village.
snack Bar: We will be responsible for running the snack bar at some point but the date has not yet been announced.

Welcome everyone to our Boys U-14 team website. We'll use this site to keep you up to date on team events (practices, game schedules, important information). If you have any pictures or videos to share throughout the season just email them to pictures@TheSoccerKids.com or send us a link and we can get them posted. We'll use this page like a blog, so the latest info will appear first, however, our most current practices & games will always show at the bottom of the page.
