Torrey Pines High, seeking its first softball championship in school history, received the top seed in Division I on Thursday as pairings were announced for the San Diego Section playoffs. The Falcons were seeded ahead of El Camino at No. 2, defending champion Rancho Bernardo at No. 3 and Poway at No. 4. West Hills earned the top seed in Division II. Mt. Carmel, which will try to win its fourth straight title, was seeded No. 2. Santana received to top seed in Division III, and four-time defending champion Francis Parker was given the No. 1 seed in Division IV. |
