Hello. As you may have noticed there is a new requirement for students traveling for school sanctioned events. In our case it is travel for softball games and tournaments. We are now required to have a permission slip for every player, signed by their parent or legal guardian, to cover travel either to or from a game/tournament with someone other than their own parent or legal guardian. Without this signed form the student MUST ride the bus to and/or from the game/tournament. On those occasions where we will not have a bus available it is even more imperative to have these signed forms for every traveling student not traveling with their own parent. We’re not exactly sure what the consequences will be but they could be substantial so let’s avoid that issue by abiding by this new requirement. To do this simply print out the form, fill it out, date and sign it. Turn in the form to Mr John as soon as possible. You only need to fill out and sign the form one time to cover the remainder of the season.
