Baseball & Softball Tryouts 
 
Friday September 18th - Carrigan Park
5:30 – 6:45   10U Softball
7:00 - 8:30   12U Softball

Saturday September 19th - EMC Park
9:00 – 10:45             8s and 9s Baseball
11:00 – 12:45  10s, 11s and 12s Baseball
1:00 – 2:45               8s and 9s Baseball
3:00 - 5:00    10s, 11s and 12s Baseball

Sunday September 20th - Carrigan Park
11:00 - 12:45   10U & 12U Softball

Sunday September 20th - EMC Park
1:00 – 2:45             8s and 9s Baseball
3:00 - 5:00    10s, 11s and 12s Baseball


In order for players to "move up" a league, attendance is mandatory
Player Baseball Age is Determined by Age on April 30, 2010
Player Softball Age is Determined by Age on December 31, 2009

Players must only attend one tryout session (approximately 20 minutes)
4 Tryout stations are used - Hitting, Pitching, Infield & Outfield
All evaluations are done by outside evaluators not affiliated with HLL

IF PLAYING BASEBALL and ...

DOB is on or between 5/1/96 - 4/30/97
- Too old for Little League
- Eligible for Babe Ruth.  Check out their website: www.hopkintonbaberuth.com

DOB is on or between 5/1/97 - 4/30/98 (Little League 12)
- tryouts are MANDATORY

DOB is on or between 5/1/98 - 4/30/99 (Little League 11)
- tryouts are MANDATORY

DOB is on or between 5/1/99 - 4/30/00 (Little League 10)
- tryouts are MANDATORY

DOB is on or between 5/1/00 - 4/30/01 (Little League 9)
- tryouts are MANDATORY

DOB is on or between 5/1/01 - 4/30/02 (Little League 8)
- tryouts are MANDATORY

DOB is on or between 5/1/02 - 4/30/03 (Little League 7)
- NO TRYOUTS for this age group

DOB is on or between 5/1/03 - 4/30/04 (Little League 6)
- NO TRYOUTS for this age group

DOB is on or between 5/1/04 - 4/30/05 (Little League 5)
- NO TRYOUTS for this age group
- must be 5 by April 30th 2010 to play

Softball Age Detemined by Age on 12/31/09
IF PLAYING SOFTBALL and ...

DOB is on or between 1/1/95 - 12/31/96
- NO TRYOUTS for this age group
- player will be placed in 14U League

DOB is on or between 1/1/97 - 12/31/98 (12U)
- tryouts are MANDATORY

DOB is on or between 1/1/99 - 12/31/00 (10U)
- tryouts are MANDATORY

DOB is on or between 1/1/01 - 12/31/01
- tryouts are OPTIONAL for those attempting to move up to 10U

DOB is on or between 1/1/02 – 4/30/05
- there are NO TRYOUTS for this age group
- must be 5 by April 30th 2010 to play
