Marlins

The Marlins win streak came to an end as they dropped a hard fought game to the Jays at Carrigan Park under the lights.

The Jays made the most of 2 home runs, 2 Marlins errors and 4 walks to pull away for the victory.

Highlights for the Marlins were:

Mike Messier had 2 singles, a walk, 2 runs scored and an RBI.

Mike Jacqmein smacked a double and scored a run.

Grant Salois had a walk, HBP and run scored.

Drew Johnson had a single, walk, run scored an RBI; pitched two innings with 2 strikeouts and one run scored.

Andrew Devine had a 2 RBI single.

Matt Johnson pitched two strong innings striking out 3 and allowing no earned runs.

The Marlins will try to get back on the winning track on Thursday against the Pirates at 6:00PM on Egan Field.
