Scottsboro Wildcats Baseball

On April 7, 2009 Scottsboro Jr High Wildcats made their regular season record 18-0 by winning their game against Arab Jr High Knights. The Wildcats started off slow due to the cold weather, but Craig Cleaver starting the game pitching with 4 innings having 6 strikeouts, 5 walks, and Knights having 4 hits only managed 1 run. Patrick Perkins finished up the game pitching with 3 innings of his own. Perkins had 4 strikeouts, 2 walks, and only allowed 1 hit, but the Arab Knights managed to score 1 more run. With batting again spread basically throughout the whole Wildcats team, Scottsboro Jr High Wildcats scored 7 runs of their own. Collin Warren had an outstanding night at the plate going 3 for 5. With a double from Caleb Spears and Blake Smith, and a single from Dylan Lewis, Patrick Perkins, Brandon Womack, and Craig Cleaver, the Wildcats won their 20th game overall.
