Welcome to the Official Saline High School Hornets Field Hockey Website!
The Saline Field Hockey Club was established for competition in the Michigan High School Field Hockey League beginning with the 2007- 2008 school year. The club currently competes with one Varsity, and one Junior Varsity team. The Saline High School Athletic Department recognizes Field Hockey as a Varsity sport, but a club financially; therefore, Varsity team members are eligible to earn letters.
Fall 2013 Saline Field Hockey:
Preseason will begin on August 14th for the 2013 season. Varsity and Junior Varsity team selections will be made and announced at the close of preseason by the coaching staff. At this time, Varsity candidates must have at least one season of prior playing experience (i.e. middle school, Rec and Ed, Club Team, USA field hockey development program, etc.) and a basic understanding of field hockey rules.

Spring Meeting
The meeting is at Harrison High School @ 7:00 PM
The address is 29995 W. 12 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, 48334.
We will be meeting in room 341. Please use the west entrance to the school - it is the upper entrance furthest away from the stadium field.
MICHIGAN HIGH SCHOOL FIELD HOCKEY 2015
The Michigan High School Field Hockey Association has crowned its State Tournament Champions. For Division I, Ann Arbor Pioneer won their second consecutive State Championship. In Division II, Saline won its first field hockey State Championship. Congratulations to both teams on a fantastic season.
Also Congratulations to the Regular Season Title Winners - D1 Chelsea Bulldogs and D2 Saline Hornets. As a result of Saline's winning D2, they will move up to compete in D1 for the 2016 season.
The M.H.S.F.H.A has now completed its 2015 season. We thank all the schools, fans, parents, players, and coaches for another great season of field hockey. We wish everyone a good off-season and look forward to the start of our 2016 season.
