Welcome to the ATYB Boys Baseball page. We are preparing ourselves for what looks to be another exciting year!
Avon Township Youth Baseball has had a long and storied history with Boys baseball.. We are the oldest baseball organization in the area. We have faced many challenges and have overcome a lot of adversity over the years. Avon Township Youth Baseball's boys baseball program is mainly recreational, but don't let that fool you... we have many competetive players in our leagues. Many of the boys that played for ATYB make it on the area high school baseball teams.
A good majority of the 15 year olds that play in the Pony league are players that have made it on the varsity team at Round Lake, Grayslake North & Grayslake Central high schools.
Our baseball program consists of leagues with players beginning at age 6 (tee ball experience) and runs through the age of 15.
Leagues are:
- Pinto ages 6 - 8
- Mustang ages 9 & 10
- Bronco ages 11 & 12
- Pony ages 13 - 15
