A. Objective - The objective is to form All Star teams that will best represent the League in post-season competition. B. Procedure - No later than the second Sunday of June of the current year the Player Agents will notify the manager of every team in each Division of the date, time, and location of the All Star selection tryouts. C. Selection of managers - The First place manager/coach of the Division will be the Head Coach for All Stars. The Second place manager/coach is offered a position on the coaching team. The First place manager/coach will choose the remaining coaches for the coaching team. D. Number of Players on Each Team - The All Star teams will consist of a minimum of 12 players and a maximum of 15 players. A point driven system chooses the first 10 players. Additional players may be added from the top 20 in points at the Head Coaches discretion. E. Selection of players - Each manager/coach may submit a maximum of five of their strongest players to the All-Star tryout. The Executive Board shall remain the final approval step for each All Star team. F. Commitment Means - Every player and manager/coach on the All Star teams must be willing to participate in all practices and in any post-season tournaments. Any player who makes a commitment and later elects not to play for that All Star team will not be allowed to play for any other League post-season team, unless approval is granted by the Executive Board. G. Open Selection - There is no requirement that each team be represented on the All Star teams. H. Replacement Due to Injury or Other Loss - In the case of injury or other loss of a player, replacement players may be added to the team. The coaching staff will select a replacement player. The All Star coaching staff will select a player from the remaining players on the potential All Star players list, subject to the approval of the Player Agents. If the list has been exhausted, then the All Star coaching staff may select the replacement player from any girl remaining (not selected for post-season play) from the Division. I. Drop Policy - No All Star player may be dropped from an All Star team without the approval of the Executive Board.
