Rose Tree FC

On the eve of one of our biggest signings in the transfer market for TEASA Spring/Summer, Rich Carroll agreed to play for Rose Tree FC, we brought our game last night. We played the un-defeated Sun Valley High School team.Many of our fans made the trip last night via TAXI and were there to support us. Also, one of our VP's, Bobby Schultz came out to support the lads. We started Calamity, Rooney-Rich and Ben-Helner on D, with Cropper-Tor-Kev up front. This would be our best complete Futsal game as we played marking defense , stayed disciplined and converted on all our chances in a 7-5 victory. Kevin , Tor and Cropper were again magnificent up front,scoring goal after goal, Rooney had a phantom head ball goal, and a highlite moment when Helner playing in front of his daughter sliced a 50 yard pass to Kevin for a goal. However the game at the end got out of control a bit, with cheap shots and yelling and cursing. here are some funny tidbits: Rooney getting yelled at: You're a f$%$%$%$ old man, and when I run you get out of my way, this ain't f^^^^^^ basketball. ok two things: Rooney only looks like 25, so OLD MAN, come on. second I didn't know the rules were I had to open up a lane for these guys to run. Next time I will make sure I get out of the way. Kevin getting yelled at: Yo you f%%%%% 40 year old, you're messing with a 17 year old, and I will kick your ass. ok, anyone else want to put money on Kevin except for me. and our nicest player Tor: One of them yells, "all night long that a%%%%%%%$ has been cheap, one cheap shot after another." and the most comical, Cropper was playing peace-maker. are you kidding me. after the game, the commish gave everyone a Scottish-bloc toungue lashing at the behavior. No one understood him so OH well. 2-2-1 now, and playoffs next week. hey our best performance on D and no O'Neill. HMMMM
