15 Year Old All Stars

The Kennewick Babe Ruth 15's are competing in the State Tournament in Aberdeen, WA, July 19th - 23rd. In the first game of Pool Play, Kennewick defeated Aberdeen by a 4-1 final. Gage Nicholson threw a complete game and held Aberdeen to only 1 run on 3 hits. Shawn O'Brien was 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Kennewick's next game is Thusday at 1pm against Kelso. Kennewick drops Pool Play game to Kelso, 11-3. Shawn O'Brien connected with a 3-run homerun in the game. Michael Gordon and Chris Clement both added a double. But, Kennewick wasn't able to overcome Kelso's strong hitting. Final Pool Play game is Friday at 10:00am against Hazel Dell. The Kennewick 15's dropped their final Pool Play game, 13-5, to Hazel Dell. Colby Cook hit a 2-run homerun. Shawn O'Brien added two RBI's and a double. The District 5 Champs had their season come to an end after finishing 1-2 in Pool Play.
