Former Cambridge Rindge and Latin all-scholastic joins Chiefs staff for the 2010 campaign.....Attended Oregon State on a baseball scholarship as a freshman before transferring closer to home where he just completed his sophomore year at UMass-Amherst......6’ 5 right-hander made five starts for the Minutemen this past spring while posting a 1-2 record….Earned a win against Hartford striking out four….Made first start of the spring against Oklahoma State…Averaged almost a K per inning….Was named the MVP of his high school team as a junior and senior ... Named the school's Athlete of the Year as a senior ... Was also a member of the basketball team…..Son of Stephen Oakley and Christine Doherty .....
