Merchants Clinch Playoff Spot Despite Crisafulli's 80th Career Home Run

Medford- Justin Crisafulli hit his 80th career home run in a Chiefs uniform and rookie catcher Anthony Weiner recorded his first ICL hit but it was not enough to overcome the Wakefield Merchants 10-4.
Former Chicago Cub farmhand Steve Coffey (2-3) picked up the win for the Merchants who clinched the fourth and final playoff spot with the win.
Mike Chandler worked the first three innings and was tagged with the loss for the Chiefs.
The Chiefs host the Gately A's at Playstead on Friday at 6:00 PM. Mark Blake will get the start for the Chiefs.
