Dear Force Parents,

We hope that you had a wonderful Christmas Holiday this past week and are enjoying the time off from school as we prepare for the New Year this week.

Here are a couple of items for the upcoming week - Friday nights are back (We are finally  back in our 9:00 p.m. time slot on Friday nights with Jason Wright) It's been since August 2008 since we lost our time and we've had to wait until now to get it back. This is totally optional and the cost is still $20 per player, we will be opening it up to a few other 6th grade players so that we can guarantee Jason a certain number of players each week. Our first Friday will be this week on January 2, 2009 at his Huntington Beach location, we will be working mostly on ball handling since we do not cover this at all during our VFW practices.

We also will be having our VFW practice this Saturday 1/3/09 time and location still not out yet but we will need all players at this practice for our Sunday game against OCO.

Please remember that our Sunday game on 1/4/09 will be at the American Sports Center in Anaheim at 6:00 p.m. due to the winter break at Western HS, we will return back to Western HS on 1/11/09.

Last but not least we need to know if there are any players that would like to play in the SASF Tournament in Sacramento 3/28 & 3/29 two weeks prior to the San Jose Ninja Tournament on 4/11 & 4/12. The reason is that we didn't think we would be accepted into the Ninja tournament with our current roster so we asked if we could play in 6th grade again in SASF. Well, we got accepted in the Ninja's but we don't want to burn our bridges in SASF so we want to take a team up there as well. Please do not feel obligated at all, we know that two Northern California tournaments in a short time are both costly and hard to schedule time off from work as well. If we can get at least four FORCE players then we might be able to combine with another team with the same number of players. The deadline for this tournament is on Monday 12/29 but we are asking for a little more time. Please write to me if you are interested as soon as possible.
