HARTLAND – Brent Diamond’s RBI triple broke open a scoreless tie in the fifth inning of the opener for

 the Eagles (17-7, 12-4).In the nightcap, Travis Johnson with 3-for-3, including a double and triple, with

 three RBIs. Spencer Wright and Anthony Villar (the winning pitcher) each added two hits.“Their kid

(Brandon White) threw a great game (in the opener) and kept it tight,” Hartland coach Brian Morrison

 said. “In the nightcap we got some big innings to stretch out the score and our pitchers threw their fourth

consecutive shutout.”Pinckney slipped to 5-18, 2-14.
