HARTLAND – Alex Wagner showed his resilience in pitching a five-inning shutout for the Eagles.“He struggled against Milford and was pretty down on himself,” Hartland coach Brian Morrison said. “But he bounced back tonight, and I was proud of the way he responded.”Wagner struck out six while tossing a two-hitter. The Eagles scored four in the first to effectively put the game out of reach.

Jake Lowery, who homered, and Mike Parks each had two hits for the Eagles (15-7, 10-4 KLAA West), who play host to Pinckney today.
