Who will work to win the cup? The challenge is to get as many consecutive touches as you can on the multi-touch ball that the boys received at the tournament. I will be asking periodically to check on progress but the boys need to practice this on there own time. It is a great way to work on the players concentration and focus. Good luck to all the boys.

At this time I do not feel the players have given sufficient effort towards competing for this award. I will schedule the competition when I see fit.

There is a parent meeting scheduled for Wednesday June 14 from 6:00-6:30. It will be at Bloomsbury Center downstairs. PLEASE BRING YOUR CHECK BOOK.

We started our season competing in the BBSL U11B division. Our team consisted of nine returning players and seven 1st year Cobras. With our coaching objectives focused on player development, each player learned and play in at least 3 positions this year and played at least 50% of each game they attended. We had some very close games and ended the season tied for 5th place with 7 points and a record of 2-5-1. We closed our season with an outstanding indoor session at Soccerdome II. The boys really came together in all aspects of team play. Our indoor record was 5-2-1 earning 16 points and a 3rd place standing. With our coaching objectives places on passing and teamwork we outscored our opponents 53-19. The only games in which we fell short was a last minute loss to our close rivals Davidsonville, 5-4,and a loss to a very big U-12 premier team, 6-1. The coaching staff is planning to start off next season with a summer session at Soccerdome and is looking forward to being very competitive in the U-12 bracket next fall. Now that we have a more experienced team we hope to increase playing time to +60% per player minimum. We would like to thank all the parents and sponsors in supporting the team this year.
