Cobras

We will be playing in a U19 league for the fall 2010 season.  With this in mind we will be holding supplemental tryouts and opening our roster to players born on or after August 1, 1991.  If you are interested please contact the coaching staff to set up a tryout.

To be eligible to play on the U-16 team the players birthday has to be on or after August 1, 1994. As a U-16 team competing in the local leagues the team will be playing a 11v11 aside game with a roster limited to 22 players, however we will only retain 16-18 players in order to maintain a high game time to player ratio.

Prior to tryouts please download the TRAVEL REGISTRATION FORM  fill it out, sign it and bring it to the first tryout.

It is important for Players to make as many of the dates as possible.

The player turn out for evaluations this year was very competitive. It was a very difficult selection process as all of the boys played well and are skilled soccer players. Players develop and mature at different rates and can improve, or decline, significantly from year to year. It is also important that the player is in the correct competitive level to avoid frustration or boredom which impedes the players ability to develop, improve, and have FUN.   Many coaches, including myself, consider this the most stressful task of the season as there are difficult choices to be made. For those who were not selected, please be sure to continue to play (summer camps and Catonsville Rec.) and come out again next year.    We plan to hold open evaluations each year for our Fall team and look forward to seeing you again next year.
