Bob will be dearly missed by the Baseball community in London and throughout the province of Ontario.

The following reamrks and condolences have been received by LDBA:

"This is very sad news for me. As the Executive Director of Baseball Ontario, I had the pleasure of working with Bob for many years. He took a stance on Risk Management issues and worked tirelessly on behalf of the youngsters and Volunteers in our Province. He was sincere, reliable, thorough and above all dedicated to everything he did. Minor Baseball is in a much better position today because of his efforts.
I am currently in Florida enjoying Spring Training, my thoughts and prayers are with Bob's family and many friends."

"It was with great sadness I learned of Bob's death. He will be missed. I have known Bob for close to 20 years through the LDBA and Baseball Ontario. He did a lot of work for both organizations, and he was always helpful to me when I had a question. I sat with Bob and his wife at the OBA convention banquet last November.

Could you pass along our condolences to Bob's wife and family from the Sarnia Braves Minor Baseball?"
Sincerely,
John Vasey

I sat beside Bob last Sunday. He is or was one of the finest people whom I have met in my 50 odd years in baseball. Our game has lost a wonderful person, but more importantly his family has lost a great husband, father and grandfather. RIP Bob
