Leon Williams (Skyhawk '95), is entering his 4th season in the NFL. He signed with the Dallas Cowboys in 2010 as a reserve Middle Linebacker. Prior to his time in Dallas, Leon was a member of the Cleveland Browns. 

During his stint with the Cleveland Browns (2006 - 2008), Leon achieved the following:

 - recorded 166 tackles

 - had Five sacks

 - had seven pass break-ups

 - played in 46 games and started in 12

 - had a career high 17 tackles in a game vs the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2006

Leon, a former starting linebacker at the University of Miami, was selected in the 4th round of the 2006 NFL draft by the Cleveland Browns.

Leon stopped by the field during the offseason to speak with the players and coaches before heading back to camp.

Dyon Moore (Skyhawk '04), a 6'2" 260 lbs senior defensive end for William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ,  is looking to pick up where he left off last season when he was again named to the New Jersey Athletic Conference Defensive Team (2nd Team).

Dyon has started on the defensive line for the past two seasons for the Pioneers and was able to garner the following stats for his career so far:

 - Started 16 of 19 games for the Pioneers

 - Led the team with 127 tackles and was the team leader with 25.5 tackles for loss

 - Recorded 6 sacks and forced 5 fumbles

 - Scored 2 tds, both fumble recoveries and returned for over 50 yards each

 - Named to the D3football.com National Team of the Week on 9/10/08.

 - Twice named New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) Football Defensive Player of the Week 

 - Named Team Defensive Player of the Year

Dyon came to William Paterson University after a stellar high school career at Hudson Catholic (Jersy City, NJ). Dyon was captain of the team his senior year and finished with 55 tackles, three sacks and three fumble recoveries. Dyon earned 1st team All Hudson County and All-Conference honors in 2006 while leading his team to a 6-4 record and the 1st round of the State playoffs.

We wish Dyon continued success in his career.

Labor Day Weekend

Happy Thanksgiving

Lansford Watson (Skyhawk '03) has been impressive during the preseason and should be an offensive weapon when the University of Maryland begins its 2009 campaign. Lansford (6'3" 260 lbs) plays TE for the Terps and should also contend for All-ACC honors this season. He has been selected a preseason fourth team all-league choice by Phil Steele's preview.

As a redshirt freshman during 2008, Lansford played in all 13 games, and had 10 catches for 115 yards and scored 1 TD. Lansford posted a career high five (5) receptions for 31 yards vs Boston College on 11/29/08.

At the conclusion of his high school career, Lansford was selected to in the US Army All-American Bowl Game. This game showcases the top players from around the country. Lansford was a WR/LB for the Abraham Lincoln H.S. (Brooklyn, NY)Railsplitters. The game was played at the Alamodome located in San Antonio, Tx. on Jan. 6, 2007 and was televised on NBC.

During the 2005 season, Lansford recorded 837 receiving yards for 11 tds.

Lansford had garnered many preseason honors and was featured in various magazines such as Sporting News High School, Athlon Football Publication and Street and Smith College Football Yearbook.
