Leon Williams (Skyhawk '95) is the starting middle linebacker for the University of Miami Hurricanes.
The Hurricanes will be taking on their in-state rival, The Florida State Seminoles, on Fri. Sept. 10th. The game will be played in Miami at the Orange Bowl. This match-up of nationally ranked teams will be televised on ABC-TV.
Congratulations Leon and we wish you the best for the upcoming season in the ACC.

Walter Mosley, assistant coach for our Jr. Pee Wee team, is currently highlighted in the latest issue of The Network Journal - Black Professionals and Small Business Magazine. Coach Mosley was named one of the 40 under 40 Black Achievers.
Coach Mosley is legal counsel to Deputy Speaker of the New York State Assembly Clarence Norman, Jr.

The Pee Wees faced a familiar opponent in the Kings Bay Cougars. It was a repeat of the teams in the 2002 division clash. The Pee Wees fought hard against the Cougars and some questionable calls by the officials and prevailed 6-0 at Bayside HS

Due to today's snowstorm and the potential travel impact, all regular season and playoff games for this weekend have been POSTPONED until next week (12/13 - 12/14).
All practices are also cancelled for Saturday, 12/6. Please contact your coach regarding possible practice sessions on Sunday 12/7 and g weeknight practices.
