Hello Skiers! First, I would like to congratulate all who skied the Duluth East Invitational Relay Saturday. Everyone skied very well and we had very good results. Second, I would like to thank all the parents that helped with the race on Saturday. Without the registration workers, timer button pushers, number writers, course resetter uppers, bus parkers, bib takers, course directors, skier helper, runners, ... well you get the picture ...It takes a lot of parents to put on a race. I thank you all! We, yes that is all of you, managed to pull off a race of about 250 skiers with no glitches. Now for what is happening. The next race is Ely on Saturday, January 3. It will be a 4 x 3.2 km relay race. The first two legs classic and the last two legs skate. For JV and Jr High each skier will ski one leg. For Varsity each skier will ski a classic and a skate leg.
