Equipment Swap

Posted by David Kask at Nov 18, 2004 4:00PM PST ( 0 Comments )
We have set up a message board for team members that can be used to buy, sell or swap ski related equipment. It can be found under the menu item Message Boards. To enter the Message Boards you will have to be a eteamz member. It is easy to become a member. Just follow the directions on the pages. When you get back to the Duluth East Nordic web site it will ask you to become a member of the Duluth East Nordic web site. In the comment box please tell me who you are and if you are a parent or relative please tell me the name of your skier on the team. I will approve your membership ASAP. It all sounds a lot harder than it really is. This membership will allow you access to all the restriced pages on the site. Dave.

What's Happening

First, we would like to thank all the parents that came to the parent's meeting last night. I know it gets long sometimes but getting all the paperwork done at once saves everyone lots of time. Thanks again. Second, We will be at Rock Pond tonight and Thursday night. 4:15 is the start time. Friday practice is on your own. With the busses leaving for West Yellowstone and the Christmas of the North parade there is plenty to do. Next week Monday and Tuesday practice will be at Rock Pond at 4:15. Our student coach Dusty will be there Monday. We are looking for a couple of parents that could help out Monday and Tuesday as well. Check the phone line for any last minute changes. Practice the rest of Thanksgiving week will be on your own. Follow the training plan. It is on the web site, in the book or on the phone line. Be sure to log your training time in your training log. On Monday November 29 will begin practicing at Snowflake, snow or no snow. With the lack of daylight after school the lighted trails will be needed to get our practices in. Our first race is Saturday, December 4 at Snowflake. The GAAS Sprints. Sign-up will end on Tuesday November 30. The sign-up sheet will be on the board at Snowflake. Let's hope there is snow. There will be a team dinner Friday before the race. Cost $4. Make sure you keep doing your snow dances. Dave
