John Dyste of Homenkol Wax will be here Monday, December 12 to give a demonstration on making your skis fast. The demo will be in the Snowflake wax room at 4:15. Parents are welcome to attend.
The bus for skiers from the local schools to Snowflake will be running Monday, Wednesday and Thursday each week. Pick up times are Ordean 3:35, East 3:40 and Woodland 3:45. The bus gets to Snowflake at about 4:00 - right on time for practice. Skis can be brought on the bus or left in our locker at Snowflake. This is very convenient for skier that don't drive or don't have access to a car after school.

Dear Coaches,
After talking with Fred (the head groomer) last night I decided that the race on Sat. will need to be a freestyle race. The current tracks were set before the freeze up and he can't reset them until we have at least 3 inches of new snow. He doesn't think the present tracks are good enough to hold up to a big race. Sorry - I really hoped for a classic race! See you all Sat.!

If the telephone line rings and rings it is usually because of an error with a computer at East High School. If the school is open please call the Activities Director's office or the Attendence office and tell them the East Nordic Team phone line isn't working.
