Here is what's up for the next week or so.
Friday, Jan. 13 - Wax skis at Snowflake for the Marshall Sprints
Saturday, Jan. 14 - Marshall Sprints - Varsity and JV be at Marshall School before 10:00. Junior high skiers be there by 11:00 to cheer on the varsity and JV and to get ready for your 3km race. See "Marshall Sprints Info" below
Sunday, Jan. 15 - Ski on your own. Be sure to get your workout in if you have one.
Wednesday, Jan. 18 - Last chance to sign up for the Duluth East Invite. Sign up on the board at Snowflake by the end of practice.
Thursday, Jan. 19 - Team dinner at Snowflake - Cost $4. Wax skis for Duluth East Invite,
Friday, Jan. 20 - Duluth East Invite. Parents - we need lots of help! A list of things to do will be on this website early next week. Please sign up at Snowflake.
This is also the last day to sign up for the Two Harbors race at Korki Nordic.
Monday, Jan. 23 - Last day to sign up for the Ely Pursuit.
Tuesday, Jan. 24 - Two Harbors Classic at Korkki Nordic. 6km for varsity and JV and 4km for JH. Start time 2:00 p.m.
Thursday, Jan. 26 - Ely Pursuit Start time 11:00 a.m.

The start lists for the Mesabi East Invite is now avaliable.
Great racing everyone last night at Cloquet. It was fun to race the Pine Valley trails again.
What is going on this week and next.
Today, School starts up again and practice is at the usual time (4:00) at Snowflake. The practice bus will resume its normal schedule.
Friday, Team dinner. We will send our Mesabi East Invite team off in style. This is also the deadline for signing up for the Proctor Classic race. The sign up sheet is on the board at Snowflake.
Saturday, The Mesabi East Invite at Giants Ridge. This is the largest High School Nordic Ski race in the country. Over 50 schools are registered with a max of 10 skiers each. Come up and watch the best high school racers in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Michigan compete. The racing starts at 10:00 and continues all day.
Tuesday, Proctor Classic race at Spirit Mountain. Start time is 2:00 p.m. Please be there by 12:00 to work on waxing. With the weather we have been having the waxing may be tricky. Travel is on your own because the race is in Duluth. (I don't make the rules).
Coming up Saturday January 11 is the Marshall Sprints.
