This is the official web site for the York Adams County Chapter of PIAA Soccer Officials. Our mission is to promote high school soccer through the recruitment, training, professional development and retention of qualified referees. We are affiliated with the York Adams Interscholastic Athletic Association (YAIAA), the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) and the National Federation of High Schools (NFHS).

Important Info: 

All Junior Varsity matches that start 10 v 10 or less shall be 20 minute halves. This is a directive from the league and not optional. However JV matches still may be shorted if agreed upon by both team coaches. ***See Download PAGE for 2018/2019 YAIAA Teams and which specific scchols play short or have NO JV team)

Reporting of Scrimmages: After a scrimmage is complete, please ensure  *CREW CHIEF send an email Vince Marechal (marecvin@gmail.com) with the names of all the officials present and game lengths and any issues. If an official was only able to do a half, make sure to note this in the email. This is important so the school can be billed properly. 

Game Turnbacks: All turnbacks must be reported to Vince Marechal in one of the following ways. 

  1. Within 48hrs of scheduled game: You MUST call Vince at (717) 487-3487.
  2. Outside of 48hrs of scheduled game: Call or email (preferred) to Vince (mailto:marecvin@comcast.net

 At no time are you authorized to switch/trade games with another official!  All reassigments are to be made by Vince and/or Chuck only.

Calendar is updated with complete fall meeting schedule. You are required to attend at least six + plus one mandatory rules meeting. (3 pre-season meetings ONLY)

NFHS Concussion course

We are aiming to have everyone take the concussion course.  Please take some time and complete the course. It is totally free and educational.  It is in our best interest to always be prepared. This course can only benefit us all.

You can take the course by clicking on the heading above. You will need to register with the learning center if you have not already done so before taking the course.
