Bears Take Another Championship Trophy Home!

The Bears placed first in the Erie Youth Hockey 2006 Select/Travel Tournament. They won all of their games against teams from Tonawanda (New York), Brampton (Ontario), and Port Credit (Ontario). The Bears gave up only two goals to their opponents throughout the whole weekend. What a nice finish for the season! Congratulations, Bears!
The Bears participated in Gilmour's Varsity B Tournament this weekend. They won vs. PUMA, lost to Erie Cathedral Prep J.V. (Pa.), and then won vs. Eastwood (Toledo). That put them in the #2 slot of the Gray Division. The final game for North Royalton on Sunday was #2 Gray vs. #2 Blue (St. Ignatius J.V.); the Bears won, 3-2. Congratulations, Bears!

02/05/06 - The Last Weekend Of League Games

The Bears played Rocky River on Saturday and lost 4-3. Then, in their last regular season league game, they won vs. PUMA 9-1. This puts the Bears in fifth place in the North Coast High School Hockey League. NCHSHL Playoffs begin on this coming Friday at Gilmour. The Bears (#5) will be playing at 10:00 PM vs. Gilmour (#4). The playoffs are a single elimination process with semi-finals on Saturday and finals on Sunday. The Bears will work hard in the playoffs to secure a spot in the Buckeye Cup in March. Good luck, Bears!
