News and Announcements

The Bears have another way of showing how their teamwork can be successful. They put forth a great effort to provide the residents of Ronald McDonald House with dinner and supplies needed, and everything was then brought down on November 3rd . The players and their families had collected grocery items--from cereal and canned goods to detergent and fabric softener---to help restock the pantry there. A lasagna dinner was also prepared by some of the team's families. Of course, we couldn't forget dessert--a huge variety of bakery (also baked by players and families) and ice cream for sundaes. While the players were preparing to serve dinner that day, they also helped around the "House" by raking leaves and cleaning up the kitchen cupboards. The Bears helped out the 34 families representing four countries staying there that day. Awesome job, Bears! Pictures can be seen in our "Albums" section.

The Bears will be holding another Wing Night Fundraiser on Saturday, January 12, 2008 from 5:30 - 8:30 PM. We enjoyed being at Doc's Bar & Grille for our last one and will be going back there for the one on January 12th. Contact Tammy Mummert at Tmm873@aol.com for details. We'd love to see you there!
