Team Feeds Residents of Ronald McDonald House
The Bears have another way of showing how their teamwork can be successful. They put forth a great effort to provide the residents of Ronald McDonald House with dinner and supplies needed, and everything was then brought down on November 3rd . The players and their families had collected grocery items--from cereal and canned goods to detergent and fabric softener---to help restock the pantry there. A lasagna dinner was also prepared by some of the team's families. Of course, we couldn't forget dessert--a huge variety of bakery (also baked by players and families) and ice cream for sundaes. While the players were preparing to serve dinner that day, they also helped around the "House" by raking leaves and cleaning up the kitchen cupboards. The Bears helped out the 34 families representing four countries staying there that day. Awesome job, Bears! Pictures can be seen in our "Albums" section.
