The North Royalton Bears defeated the Cleveland Heights Tigers 3-0 on Friday, November 29th in game 2 of the 2013 Jr. Jacks Turkey Bowl Thanksgiving Tournament. The Bears controlled the pace of the game and despite putting 30 quality shots on goal only managed to put 3 past the Tigers net minder who played exceptionally well in the loss. The Bears scored one in the 1st period when Preston Vinyard’s shot from the blue line found the back of the net; picking up assists on the goal were Cameron Megazzini and Timmy Orlosky. The Bears offense briefly hibernated before waking back up in the final period when the Bears scored twice. Jeremy Gripp’s scored early in the 3rd, assisted by Orlosky, and Brandon Walsh’s redirect of a Michael Dzoba pass capped the scoring for North Royalton. Tyler Roesch played solid between the pipes for the Bears stopping all 17 shots he faced for his 2nd shutout of the season.
