North Royalton Bears Join New League

Posted by Tammy Mummert on Jun 08 2004 at 05:00PM PDT
The North Royalton Bears will be participating in a newly formed hockey league, North Coast High School Hockey. There are 11 other teams also in the league--Brecksville, Brush, Gilmour Varsity B, Holy Name, Jackson, Medina, Mooney-Ursuline, Nordonia, Riverside, Villa Angela St. Joseph, and Walsh Jesuit. The teams will play 10 league games and will have their playoffs the first week of February. There is a possibility of state playoffs involving club leagues from Columbus and Dayton/Cincinnati. This is a great oppportunity for those teams not belonging to a league so that their teams can be involved in standings/playoffs/etc. and have a structured protocol on code of conduct/rules/etc. Good luck, Bears!
